Now seriously how do you friggin manage to hit a parked car that is parked mid-block with a car in the back and a car in the front . Btw as you can see my car was pushed forward about 25cm (the tire shot you can see scrape marks where my car was originally parked) and moved to the left (see the car is unevenly parked now) about 10-15 cm.
whoever did this, god i hope your ****ing tires fall off!

I'd thought that you had traded it in when you got your new car...
So you kept her huh? Sorry to hear about your current situation... that sucks. I guess this is what I'm glad that I don't have to park mine on the street. :D

So why didn't you trade it in? Were you gonna use it as a "Winter beater" car?

To figure out who did it, you must wonder who would profit? Also, figure they had considerable torqe on that thing. Garbage? Streetsweeper? Good will?
How much were you selling it for? Maybe take out an insurance claim. It shouldn't change your rates at all. I'd report it to the police too... you never know what will turn up.

Probably because you get less in a trade in. That and he didn't want to put money down on the lease.

Would you get less than the "donation" value? :hmm:
30% of whatever the donation value... :hmm: Either way... I dunno. I personally didn't want 2 cars... 1 car, 1 truck is cool though :D (they have their "purposes" :D )

How many pennies? Was trade value under $2K ?

Well that sucks...
My 96 T-Bird still has a trade value around $2500 - $3000, and a resale value of $5000....
But then again.. it still only has like 80,000 miles on it. :D

That's pretty impressive seeing as new small sedans can go for around $10K

Well... with V8 power and fully loaded (leather, cruise, moonroof, stereo, and everything) and still in very pristine condition... folks around here DROOL over my car (at least the kids do...) I have a friend who is a Ford dealer and basically I ordered it from the catalog and had it built with almost every option that you could get on it in 1996. Basically it was like $24K before adding the kit and the rims...
I've had several people tell me that they would like to have it... but it's MINE I tell ya... MINE MINE MINE!!! :hihi:
Maybe when DFJ gets old enough... he can have it. :D

I'm quite sure that I could get $3K for my T-Bird if I wanted to sell it... I probably could get more on looks alone. :D
But honestly, it is still "Cheaper to Keep Her" for me... insurance is cheap and she gets better gas mileage than the HEMI. :thumb:

I don't have an F-150 anymore. I sold it in October of this year. And one of the reasons I sold it is precisely because of the gas mileage and my lack of need for such a large and environmentally damaging vehicle. My best was 18 MPG on a trip. Worst was about 14 MPG city. Decent for a truck, but not great by any means.
