Super Model Gisele Bundchen, Reneges on “Lost Dog” Reward Offer; San Bernardino Couple Arrested, Released, and Talking to Media

A young San Bernardino couple is going public with questions about supermodel Gisele Bundchen's "no questions asked" $5000.00 reward offer, which remains unpaid more than two weeks after the couple returned Bundchen's dog only to be arrested at gunpoint, handcuffed and held in custody. Although cleared by the police, the couple has no explanation from Bundchen of why they were treated like criminals and denied the reward.

dude, that is just not cool.

of course, as always, i'm interesting in hearing the other side of the story. i'd be curious whether bundchen is that much of a bitch or if there's another dimension to the story.

i would like to hear her side, too, but what can be said in her defense? the couple was cleared of being the doggienappers. they should get the reward.

on another note, when i read: "lost dog" in the thread title it reminded me of these cartoons

Damn that sucks. :disa: They should have BBQ the dog instead of returing it.

I actually heard this guy's story last week when he called into Kevin & Bean on KROQ. I still think it sucks for them. #$@#! egotistical supposed celebrities...

what were folks from the 909 doing roaming around a ritzy neighborhood like that?

another thing to note, that was a press release from their attorney's office.

i would hope there was some compelling reason to believe they nicked the dog in the first place... :disa:

but you know, even if she's sure and jsut couldn't prove it, i'd still give em the $5000, because a) it's nothing to her, and b) does she think they won't be pissed off enough to come back, grab the dog again, and this time just snuff it?

From what I remember from the story I heard last week, they were in the Hollywood area with their young son for an audition. They saw this dog on the loose that almost got hit in the middle of the street (something off Sunset, I think) and they grabbed the yorkie before he could go run into traffic again.
