i like mondays. i like my job, my co-workers, and getting back into the routine. mondays give me a chance to sit down and set up the week, recover from the weekend, and talk to my friends at work.

Mondays aren't nearly as bad as Sunday night, when you're dreading Monday. :)

Actually, I don't mind Mondays for the same reasons cheapie listed.

I view each day of the week as having its own characteristic, sort of like the seasons changing. If a day starts getting to you, just know that the next one is around the corner.

(Hey, I just realized that I've raised being a Cubs fan to a Zen level. Go me.)

If there's a day that I could remove from the week, it would be Tuesday-- that's always been the day when if something is gonna go wrong, that's when it's gonna happen.

i don't dislike mondays per se. now if something crappy goes down on a Monday, I'll dislike that single day. but today has started off very well. by that I mean that the heater here at work is working so that means its going to be a good day. nothing is worse than a cold office first thing in the morning.

for me, i don't like mondays because my work constantly builds upon itself. everytime i'm not working, the amount of work i have to do just grows and grows. so when there are two days of not working (weekend), mondays offer me a nice huge stack of work i have to do. basically, mondays and tuesdays are spent catching up from the weekend. and the rest of the days are when i'm actually productive.

Because this semester I had to wake up at 8am every Monday morning to get to my lab to TA the juniors in electrical engineering. And today I had to hand in a 10-page research paper and take a final.

I didn't like Mondays because it was that first smack of reality hitting you after a good relaxing weekend.

Now? Monday, even with a heavy three-hour class in the morning, is my day of recovering from an exhausting and draining weekend of taking care of stuff at church and whatnot.

I love Mondays. My son goes back to school, my husband goes back to work, and I get the day all to myself. Well, I have a 4 month old so I don't get it ALL to myself, but close enough!
