I have to because of where I work. Security changes based on what the color is.

eh i read about them every once in a while, but usually ignore the warnings. It is just a scare tactic anyways.

hell no-If I did I'd stay in my house-curled up in a little ball in the corner gripping my rosary beads till they were worn smooth...if it gets so bad that the bombs start falling-I'm gathering up my entire family in one room after putting a big giant red x on the top of the house....Man didn't you people ever see that movie Empire of the Sun???

Yeah... "Govt. Intelligence" is so reliable and all... 9/11 investigation shed a little light on the subject?

No way. The odds of it actually happening to me are so small as to be rediculous and even if it did happen, there is nothing that I can do to prevent it. They had lots of general warnings that I think were just to scare people. They never had anything specific enough to warrant them. How many have there been since the election? Zero. Makes you wonder. Just like the California "power shortages" we had. Once they started to investigate the utilities abusing things to make a profit there has not been a single caution. And demand for electricity is even higher than then.

No - because I live in outer podunk, it wouldn't make a very good terrorist target. We're not even downwind from a decent terrorist target. That and I own old military guns... I WILL SHOOT BACK. And my 8mm Mauser is much more accurate in my hands than their AK-47s are in theirs. Go ahead... fsck with me.

I've been feeling the pull of a new gun hobby myself.

:stupid: I voted no because I really don't care. But if I have to go to the airport I do like to know how aggravating TSA will be and how much of my time they will waste.

It's true that the 8mm Mauser is much more accurate/powerful than their AK-47, but i still prefer the AK-47 over any other rifles because of their reliability.
BTW, I have 2 SKSs, 1 MAK-90 and 1 VZ24 Mauser and 1 .40S&W. So I'm ready for anything.....well sort of...

I have to because if I go visit my mom, and it is above yellow I have to have my purse and diaper bag completely searched upon entering and leaving.

I agree, an AK-47 is the model of reliability for a semi-auto/full-auto weapon. But an 8mm Mauser is bolt action, and bolts are more reliable than autos. I was referring to was the TV footage of those yahoos firing AK's from over their heads. All that would do is tell me where to aim :fal:

I always thought the same thing until I did a bit of research. Turns out there are tons of terrorist targets upwind from me.
As for the color-coded mess, it doesn't make any difference what I do. Either the govt will act on the threat or they won't act. Hiding in my house won't pretect me.
