I was in the military (maintenance company) and somehow avoided getting a license to drive. I still took HMMV (sp?) for test drives though. ;)

Yesterday i went skiing, i was flying down the mountain and i had a girl cut me off on her snowboard. She was 3 feet in front of me, i jumped over her board and realized that she is right in front of me. If i hit her with my body she would have been a stain, so i did the only thing i could do to not kill her, i pushed her out of the way... unfortunatelly the push was to the side of the head, and since i was holding a skiing pole my hand was in a fist and i had a huge snowboarding glove on, the force with which i pushed her in additon to the speed that i was flying at equaled to a very nice healthy punch to the side of the face. TO recap, from what my friend who was about 30 feet behind me, told me, he saw the impact, he saw her hit the ground, roll and lay there perfectly still. I did not stop nor did i look back

Man, when I went snowboarding, some guy and his little girl stepped in front of me in the same way. I was going way too fast to stop. Since I was a totally amateur, I didn't know how to turn easily and so I threw myeslf down on the ground. Even so, I just tumbled down fast as hell towards them and ended up nailing my face onto his girls back. My goggles got shattered onto my face and the dad was REALLY pissed that I nearly annihilated his little girls back.

As for an actual revelation, I have a crippling fear of heights, yet I thoroughly enjoy roller coasters and rock climbing. I also have no trouble flying. Get me near a balcony on a building over 3 stories, though, and I freak.
