Bah Humbug!

Same here -- nothing's going right for me these days (or so it seems). Little reason to be in the Christmas spirit.

Me! It's hard not to when you have a bunch of little kids shaking presents and constantly asking how many more days...

We wen't caroling yesterday with our church. That was lots of fun, even if it was only about 10 degrees with 25 mph winds.

Bah Humbug, This year has gone to fast, and left me no time to turn around. I am ready to just start a new year and forget this one. Including Christmas. I would like to delay Christmas for a few more months.

Yup.

The tree's up, presents are almost done, and I'm ready to make the rounds of family and friends. The Santa hat is sitting right here on my desk.

This is also a great week to be at work, since nobody is in the mood to get anything done. :)

I'm still not sure. Let me tell you...shopping for 30+ gifts is a pain...wrapping them is even more superterrific because of the odd shapes and sizes. I'll let you know after Xmas day how I really feel.

i'm not. i have a take-home exam (which i'm currently "working" on) and a 25-page paper to write before i can consider being in the christmas spirit.

i'm in a bit of a crunch, trying to finish up homemade gifts for 4 friends coming over on thursday, but other than that, it's all good. got some new crayola markers specifically designed for writing on windows... we're gonna decorate the heck out of our huge front window... got the cards sent... almost finished building my husband's gift... eg's gonna help wrap gifts druing naptime today... got southern comfort (n/a :P ) eggnog in my coffee... got plans with a bunch of friends and family and all their rotten kids... and i'm REALLY looking forward to a real christmas morning... kids kicking us out of bed way too early, my sister and her bf are staying at my parents house until they're finished redesigning theirs, so we'll all wake up together and throw gifts at each other while an artery-killer of a breakfast sizzles...

only thing missing is the snow. it's finally cold enough that taking the garbage out in my barefeet is painful, but no white stuff... it's welcome as soon as i make the 3-hour drive to my parents' house on the 24th... and it can melt when i drive back new years day, thank you :P

Schmart thinking :D

It's a 2-day affair, Saturday and Sunday, but I'm only going down Saturday. I've never been able to handle crowds well, and it got a lot worse after my panic attack about 14 months ago.

oh yeah, i like being in the mood for xmas too! ;)

Ho Ho Ho Yes it is at our house! Our tree is up, Advent wreath is lit, the wiener is sporting a pretty red bow, and all our shopping is done. My in-laws come into town tomorrow night and we're going to Glen Ivy Hot Springs on Thursday to relax before the weekend. :)

I wish it was a little colder here in So. Cal than it currently is. It has been unusally warm after our unusually cold snap earlier this month.

Not so much a party as a huge gathering of THO's family, most of whom I haven't met and will likely only see once a year.

I'll be in the X-mas spirit when the shopping's done and my car is (hopefully) sold and gone later this week.
