Tickets for 2005 Yankees season went onsale this morning, and here's the damage done:
A pair of tickets to two games in the season opening series against the Red Sox(!) including Opening Day.
A pair of tickets to the Subway Series 2005
Two pairs of tickets for Yankees-Red Sox the day after my birthday in May.
I go to school in the Boston area and if I learned anything other than engineering in the last four years, it's that my hatred towards all things Boston Red Sox grew like tenfold. I can't wait to see my boys pound on the World Champs after the nightmare that was ALCS 2004. The other tickets are nice too (esp since the Mets look like they'll be better this year) but the killer is those opening series tickets.
Now I gotta plan a trip down to NYC as this is in the middle of the semester and come up with an excuse to my professors to miss class! Now if that's not the perfect end to the finals period that ended yesterday, I don't know what is. :)
