i returned one of those overpriced car alarm systems but had lost the receipt
what model alarm did you get?? I checked BestBuy.com, CircuitCity.com, and just for fun Crutchfield.com and the most expensive alarm was $250. The reason I ask is it would help your sale if you could show what you bought, because two people have already asked.

They can get expensive when you tack on the options. My friend paid $600 to have one installed there with an autostart and 2 way LCD pagers.
Installation is well over $100 and can't be refunded, so I guess all I'm asking is what parts did he get, so I can kinda see how the balance goes, and if all checks out, this sale is more legit than not :)

It doesn't help his case that he's got a high-dollar Staples card up for sale, too.
....but I don't want to thread crap.

SOme best Buy car alarm cost around 500 dollars because that includes installation, employees can get teh unit for under 150 and return it with no reciept for 500.
