ONE ADMIT TWO PASS TO 'THE CHORUS'
1949, post-War France – In a dark, doom-filled school for troubled boys where hope itself is in short supply, a mild-mannered new teacher has just arrived, only to find himself surrounded by prepubescent thieves, inveterate liars, unapologetic rebels and lost souls beyond reach. Or are they? When Clement Mathieu (Gerard Jugnot) introduces these supposedly hard-core delinquents to something they’ve never experienced before – the freedom and joy of music – he discovers there is far more to these children than anyone dared to believe. This movie screens Tuesday January 25th at 7pm at Landmark Hillcrest. Seating is not guaranteed so arrive early.

ONE ADMIT TWO PASS FOR HIDE AND SEEKCome out, come out, wherever you are!" That command is familiar to everyone who has played the children's game, Hide and Seek. But then, imaginary friends can sometimes seem so real...This movie screens Thursday January 27th at 10pm at AMC MISSION VALLEY. Seating is not guaranteed so please arrive early

Bunch of Cities listed but San Diego is one of them. To sign up for a screening please fill out and submit the form below. Seating is limited and available on a first come, first serve basis.
More mischief. More mayhem. More magic. The Mask is back!
Just as aspiring cartoonist Tim Avery (Jamie Kennedy) gets over his fear of parenthood with the birth of his new son Alvey, he quickly finds himself in over his head as his new baby is born with the spectacular powers of the legendary Mask of the Norse god Loki. Further complicating matters is the family's jealous dog, who turns the household upside down and sparks a comical kid-versus-canine battle for control of the Mask. But unbeknownst to them all, the mischievous Loki (Alan Cumming) has come looking for his Mask, and is willing to do whatever it takes to get it back.

A young man, Tim, emotionally traumatized by memories of terrible things he experienced in his bedroom as a little boy, decides to return to the house he grew up in after the tragic death of his father to try to face his fears of that bedroom; fears of a mysterious being that could merely be a figment of his imagination that the experience might help him work out. ONE ADMIT TWO PASS TO 'SWIMMING UPSTREAM'
'Swimming Upstream' tells the compelling and inspirational true story of Tony Fingleton, a young man from a troubled family who found the inner strength to become a champion. Based on Anthony Fingleton's novel of the same name and set in 1950s Brisbane, Australia, 'Swimming Upstream' stars Jesse Spencer as Tony, a young man who beats the odds to become a champion swimmer in spite of his overbearing, alcoholic father (Geoffrey Rush) and long-suffering but quietly heroic mother (Judy Davis). Overshadowed in his father's eyes by his brothers, it's only when Tony displays an extraordinary swimming talent that he feels he has a shot at winning his father's heart - and maybe even Olympic gold. This movie screens Tuesday, February 1, at 7pm at Edwards Mira Mesa Stadium.

Danny Boyle (Director of 28 Days Later, Trainspotting) once again reinvents the cinematic experience with a heartwarming story of two little boys, faith, miracles... and lots of money.
Starting anew after the death of their mother, 9-year-old Anthony is ever practical, while his 7-year-old brother Damian uses imagination, fantasy, and faith to make sense of his confusing world. When a suitcase full of money falls out of the sky at Damian’s feet, it sets the boys on the adventure of a lifetime that leads them to realize that true wealth has nothing to do with money. -- © Fox Searchlight.

Edwards Mira Mesa
Wednesday 2/16 at 7:30 P.M.
Just road test a Scion at a participating San Diego Scion Dealer.
To find a dealer call 866-70Scion or www.scion.com
Good while supplies last rated R for demonic images and violence,
under 17 not admitted with out parent or adult guardian
Synopsis: Born with a gift he didn't want, the ability to recognize the half-breed angels and demons that walk the earth in human camouflage, Constantine (KEANU REEVES) was driven to take his own life to escape the tormenting clarity of his vision, but he failed. Resuscitated against his will, he found himself cast back into the land of the living. Now, marked as an attempted suicide with a temporary lease on life, he patrols the earthly border between heaven and hell, hoping in vain to earn his way to salvation by waging war on the earthbound minions of evil. But Constantine is no saint. Increasingly disillusioned by the world around him and at odds with the one beyond, he's a hard-drinking, hard-living bitter hero who scorns the very idea of heroism. Constantine will fight to save your soul but he doesn't want your admiration or your thanks - and certainly not your sympathy. All he wants is a way out.

ONE ADMIT TWO CONSTANTINE MOVIE PASS
Born with a gift he didn't want, the ability to clearly recognize the half-breed angels and demons that walk the earth in human skin, Constantine (KEANU REEVES) was driven to take his own life to escape the tormenting clarity of his vision. But he failed. Resuscitated against his will, he found himself cast back into the land of the living. Now, marked as an attempted suicide with a temporary lease on life, he patrols the earthly border between heaven and hell, hoping in vain to earn his way to salvation by sending the devil's foot soldiers back to the depths. Kids 3-9 will enjoy it for its silly wacky comedy, but the adult in you will see a movie that was just slapped together and that uses the word cr@p a lot. Don't go excepting a Jim kinda Mask because you will be greatly disappointed.
Alan Cumming (Fegan Floop on Spy Kids plays Loki on this one) was the best. Basically I liked the movie because of him. Everything else was kinda missing something. On one part the movie simply dies, nothing happens for a couple of minutes.
Not worth a movie tix price. Wait for video and use a coupon to rent it.
Hope that people that saw BECAUSE OF WINN-DIXIE had a better experience.

I saw Because of Winn-Dixie this past Saturday. I liked the movie a lot. Its definately a movie you should take your kids too. There is humor (but not toilet humor) and can be touching at points. I definately would have paid to see Because of Winn-Dixie. Plus, the main character's nickname is LunchMeat!
Also, the theater wasn't full so they had the people from channel 95.7 passing out screening tickets to anyone who wanted to watch the screening who didn't have a ticket already.

I went to the screening of Constantine tonight. It was actually much better than I had expected (I guess the special effects looked corny to me on TV). Interesting story, sort of like Stigmata meets Sixth Sense with some Amityville Horror thrown in to make you scream. I hate bugs, so the flies and spiders and stuff were icky. But, hey, what's hellfire and demons without a little creepy crawly going on?

I went to the Fever Pitch screening last night. I thought the movie was really cute. Warning: it is a total chick flick with a VERY high gag factor. But taken for what it was, it had some laugh out loud moments. Recommended for Boston Red Sox fans!
100.7 Jack FM was there to sponsor the screening. They didn't give out any prizes, only some measly Fever Pitch posters and lame Jack bumper stickers. Ironically the new bumper stickers are oval so you can try to hide your old Star stickers with the new ones! LOL! The audience didn't seem all that pleased when the Jack guy introduced the new radio station.

I am surprised that "JACK" didn't give out prizes I would think if this radio station is trying to sell themselves they would at least give out prizes. Star use to give out T-Shirts and CD's. Sounds like a lot of people aren't happy with the change. I guess we will see what happens to this radio station in the next few months.
Thanks for the update!! :)

Win a Kinsey DVD.
An exploration of the life of the pioneer of human sexuality research, Alfred Kinsey (Liam Neeson). Spanning six decades from his childhood in the early 1900s to his death in 1956, the film turns the microscope on the man whose landmark studies on the sexual behaviors of the common man rocked a nation. The interviewer of tens of thousands, Kinsey subjected his own life and that of his researchers to the same type of analysis that produced his 1948 best-selling book "Sexual Behavior in the Human Male." But while the Kinsey team's focus was predominantly outward, perhaps what they learned about themselves was as great as that which they taught their country. We have 20 copies of this new dvd available. One of them could be yours!

I've gotten tickets mailed to me before. Only once did I not get any tickets...yes, last night was a big disappointment...they let too many people in who donated money to SDAFF before they let everyone else in. I would say only 20 or so people who were in line got in. They thought the theater was larger so that's why they gave out so many passes...or so they said.

Enter today for your chance to win two passes to the advance screening of 'Lords of Dogtown'
'Lords of Dogtown' is based on a true story of a group of teenage surfers from a tough neighborhood known as "Dogtown" in Venice, California, who in 1970 pioneered a revolutionary new style of skateboarding. The Z-Boys, known for their aggressive style and hard street attitude, combined the death-defying moves of surfing with the art of skateboarding and became overnight sensations and local legends. With empty pools as their canvas, the Z-Boys paved the way to what is now known as "extreme sports" and created a lifestyle that spread infectiously to become a worldwide counterculture phenomenon. But all of this fame would take its toll on the friendships that they thought would last a lifetime as the sport that started out as an afternoon hobby turned into big business.
