Alright.. here's the deal, I need some recommendations on pci-SATA-controller
cards.

dual-opteron file server running 64-bit linux 2.6.x
8x WD 250Gb 7200rpm 8MB (SATA)

Okay, so I'm looking for a pci/pci-x SATA non-raid controller. All i really need is a SATA interface w/ the system to implement/test raid configurations.

I need a controller that is supported under Linux-2.6.x 64-bit
Cost is not an issue.
