The week after Black Friday I purchased a Mad Dog 450W PSU from CompUSA for $30 AR (Reg. Price $79.99). It is AMD and Intel ATX +12V 1.3 ATX 2.03 compliant with SATA and VGA connectors. After some research I found out that these are merely rebadged Super Flower PSU’s. Even the cut-away view is identical, as well as the push button fan switch with 3 LED’s below it (see pics). But the specs don’t seem to be identical to any Super Flower unit. It most closely matches the Super Flower SF-430T03, but the +3.3V rating seems low. Could this be deliberately under-rated? I’m about to replace an older Enlight/High Power 360W PSU as well as upgrade almost all other components. Any thoughts, experiences, or reviews?
