There are a lot of bright ladies around here and I'm sure they have the answer. Me? Mom used a tractor tire, tarp and a fly strip.

I'm not one of the "bright ladies" here, but will this (http://www.onestepahead.com/jump.jsp?lGen=detail&itemID=37&itemType=PRODUCT&iProductID=37&change=117) do the trick for you?

At that size, you're out of the "playpen" arena and into the "play area" space.

:stupid: I was going to suggest something very similar. I have never seen an already built play pan the size you requested but with these they are very easy to put up and take down either babies r us would have one, but also pet stores carry them

also look at a catalog called right start ... i think they're on the web, too. yep, there they are... http://www.rightstart.com/

that's where i get all my tardguards. on the left, jsut scroll down to "safety." kinda expensive, but worth it to knwo that some ghetto home-made jerry-rigged crap isn't going to collapse and kill your 20-lb daredevil.

myself, i gave up on playpens long ago and just put up gates all over the living room, essentially turning the living room into a huge playpen. we call it the fisher price mosh pit.

well the reason for the large pen is that my new place is going to be a 1 bdrm for now till i can get everything squared away and a idea of how the new finaces are going to work, and i slep like a rock
so i need to contain the runaway child best i can at night time
although i saw that "fencing" above and was thinking of srtinging it out straight across the room and bolting to the wall on each side and just dividing the bedroom in half
might be benifical gthat way
