I am leaving on thursday to spend 5 weeks in Grenoble France for a course title European Research Course on Atmospheres (ERCA). Best part is it won't cost me a cent!

And what exactly is this course about and why are you taking it? Is it for your major? Are you looking at the different ecological climate zones created by the varying altitudes and exposure?

Hey, we have an office there, but I've never been. Let me know how it is... I'm looking for an excuse to go there.

I am taking it since I am working towards a phd in atmospheric chemistry. My current research is focused on the chemistry of Nitrogen oxides. I am taking it to broaden my knowledge on other aspects of the atmosphere. The course itself covers a broad range of topics. If you are interested in the topics see thier circular:

I recently discovered I am too old for things like skiing. I seperated my shoulder playing football a few months ago. So I am not in any hurry to injure myself again in a foreign country. But I may go watch people ski or maybe try some sledding.

So in my spare time I will be writing my thesis and try to visit other neighboring countries like switzerland.

That sounds like fun. But how would I ask for that in French?

It's a very small office (like maybe only 10-15 people) so you're probably not too likely to stumble across it, but the name is Athys. It's a small software dev company that we bought a year or two ago.
