the 9600xt blows it out of the water, i can hardly see how the xt and the plain 9600 can even be the same base card.

yeah i thought it was XT also, but i'd rather buy the XT for 30 bucks more :)

But since prices are dropping that means more will soon come.

I don't know what it is in general, but I've had over 14,000 on a system w/ single channel ddr memory. I'd say that's decent enough, granted it wasnt a 4 thousand dollar machine by any means either.

How did you get a R9600Pro to a 3DMark03 14000 score? My A64 3200+ with a R9800Pro, which is much than the R9600Pro and R9600XT, only gets about 6000.

Check out the huge video card review at Tom's Hardware (http://compreviews.about.com/gi/dynamic/offsite.htm?site=http://www20.tomshardware.com/graphic/20031229/index.html)--should give an idea of relative performance. The 9600XT ranks higher in "F-Bucks" (bang for the buck) rating.

i dont want to sell it! what are you talking about? i can get BFG 6800 ultras for 350 though :) (new) but the msi is better becasue it's nvidia

I appologize for the confusion, it was a 9600xt for one, and two I made a mistake, it was 3dmark 2001. There's no way a 9600pro could post those sorta scores, and the scores are too far off for the version heh.
