Either do a live trap, get an ultrasonic pest unit, or a good old fashioned snap trap.

Get 2 cats. You should be able to find at least 2 that will work really cheap.

If I EVER find a mouse in my house the CATS will be in some BIG TROUBLE.

You could try hiring Klondike Kat. He hates mieces to pieces.

Or maybe these 2 might help you out. http://www.geocities.com/billxp/sylvester-icon.gif

Glue boards work well too. Especially when you put it in a bag and drop a pile of heavy books on the little vermin. Otherwise, get one of the traps that will take off a finger if you set them wrong. You'll get that satisfaction of a *SNAP*-ing success.

get a snap trap. i think it's nasty to see a live mouse writhing and squealing on a glue trap.

the carcas isn't bad....not really any blood or anything. and if you're really that worried about it, you can just throw the whole trap away once you catch the mouse.

by the way, do peanut butter and put a raisin on top. they dig that ****.

Mice are pretty good pets... plus if you get a male and female, you get more for free 3 weeks later!

I would recommend the cats as well..seriously-if you can get them, they will keep your house mouse free.

The only problem with that is that cats are evil and hell-bent on world domination. This would require that he also get a couple of dogs to keep the cat in check.

theres this really cool rat poison they sell at home depot that makes the mice/rats eat through this package and they just die somewhere so you can find their bones.
i think it eats through their stomach or somthing.
somthing to look forward to when you clean the house

Sylvester is notorious for being unable to catch anything.

Instead of getting a cat, get a snake. That'll kill the mouse!

Here's a little trick that works well with snap traps.

Get a paper grocery bag, put trap in the open bag. When the trap snaps, blammo you got your mouse! Just pick up the bag, roll it up and goes into the trash. No fuss, no muss!

Uhm, I got friggin bees... Worst is that I can't seem to get rid of them either! They make wasp killing stuff, yellow jacket killing stuff, and hornet stuff, but not bees. WTF are bees indestructible unless you pay some guy $200 to come out and get rid of them!

If they build a nest in your yard, pay the $ and have someone get rid of it. I don't know if "SC" means SoCal or South Carolina, but if you are out west, they are most likely the africanized "killer" bees. But don't screw around with a nesting.

The most effective weapon against individual bees is a mixture of 1/4 Dawn detergent and 3/4 water in a spray bottle if you are only dealing with a few at a time. Zonks their wings dead. I hate bees.

Your local Animal control will also take care of it if you're in So. Cal. Most of the time they just call in a bee specialist anyway.

I have heard of more modern hive elimination methods using Queen-on-Queen Bee-porn to attract the queen out of the hive, but then again that might just be a San Fernando Valley kind of thing.
