If you're referring to the music surveys, then you do need to sign up for them...even if you're a VIP member on the KIIS site. Unless you sign up on the rate the music site, you won't get the music survey e-mails, that give you the BC's to use on the KIIS site.

I've signed up but haven’t received any survey invitations yet - why not?
When do I get another survey?

How do I take surveys?
Once you've signed up, look for survey invitation emails from us. Survey invitations are sent out on a weekly basis, but not every rater will receive one every week. We have an internal system that looks at every rater individually and sends invitations based on a number of factors, including favorite music style, age, gender, geographic location, etc. Our system also looks at how frequently you receive surveys and will not send you every survey, so you don't get "burned out" by being asked to take too many.

why did my friend receive an invitation to take a survey but I didn’t?

There are a few reasons why this may happen. Even if you both selected the same music style, you both may be different ages, live in different locations (cities, zip codes, even states) etc., so you will not necessarily receive the same survey invitation(s) at the same time. We use a complex set of rules to determine who receives surveys, and this simply may not have been your turn to receive one.

i got the music survey, but not my daughter, and i was gona share the link, but wen i clik on it ,it asked me to confirm all my personal info( so it looks like it was custom fit) (at home i know my comp memory would be auto,but here at my job, this comp holds no memory,i put in manual ea time)
so it is probly just select customers.
and my daughter got the new site email with timed codes but i did not.

crazy. but with GA, we all get it all.

Clear Channel to launch music video-on-demand

Clear Channel Communications, the top U.S. radio conglomerate, said Friday that it planned to begin testing a free, on-demand music-video service next Tuesday as part of a strategy to bolster its Internet presence.

Between 2,000 to 3,000 music videos from top artists at Warner Music Group and Universal Music Group will be featured on some of its radio station Web sites.

A third music label is likely to join, though a deal has not been finalized, said Evan Harrison, executive vice president of Clear Channel's radio division.

The free service will be advertising supported, the company said.

The launch is part of a restructuring of Clear Channel's Internet properties across the nation. Last year, the radio company began offering site viewers originally produced interviews and shows with musicians including Kanye West, John Legend and Reba McEntire.

Programmers have began offering more videos on-demand over the Internet and on portable media devices as consumers push to have more control over what and when they watch.

Clear Channel also started offering downloadable audio files of radio shows, or podcasts. About 6.5 million of its podcasts were downloaded during the last six months of 2005.

This is the same decision we all have to make....take a chance on a raffle, or be patient and save up enough points to buy a "sure thing".

One way to help is to belong to as many radio and TV station program like this as you can. In that way you can make different decisions for different decisions and pverall increase your chances at getting something you want.
