So, a coworker of mine went to a car dealership this weekend, just casually looking. He checked out a 2004 audi A4 with pretty much no options. manual.... cloth seats, etc etc...
He's saying that the dealership offered it to him for 21900. is that just usual price for clearing out 2004's? or is this a hot price that he should jump on?

according to KBB.com's new car builder the invoice price on the most basic model with no options is $23,805.
Looks like a good price. Does it have many miles on it? if not they are probably just clearing it out.

it has like 15 miles on it....it's pretty much brand new... yeah, I'm egging my coworker on to jump on it before he gets married in a month :P.

maybe he could talk them down lower on the price or talk them into throwing in tires and/or oil changes for life. that would make it one hell of a deal.

yup. oil changes are already free. not sure about tires...never heard of dealerships doing free tires...

some dealerships do free tires for the life of the vehicle to the original owner. in the Central Valley I saw a Ford dealer offering this. the catch is usually that you have to have their dealership do your rotating every 5K miles or you have to have a receipt to show that it was done somewhere else. bascially, no rotating the tires yourself. if you can handle that it is not such a bad deal.
