That happened in my town twice,without going into too much detail, the first show of respect was for a Binghamton Police officer by the name of Lee Barta who was shot in the head, and the second for a Broome county Sherriff by the name of Kevin Tarsia (you can google both names and find out more info if you like)..both funeral processions were amazing..over 400 police and fire cars in each procession from the churchs to the cemetaries..the streets were lined with people-some crying, some just watching..both men were saluted by each person standing on the sidelines as the hearses passed by..it was very very moving. Not something I want to see again, because it will mean that yet again-there has been another life wasted by protecting people I love.
