Snow for a Snowman

I decided to build a snowman today, but the snow is too fluffy. It just won't compress into buildable snow.

Anyone know how to make the snow correct? Possibly using a mister from a plastic bottle?

a mister is perfect... anything more heavy-duty than that, and it's just chunks of ice, not snow... make the water kinda warm, above body temp, (it'll cool on the way out)not too hot, or you got excess meltage problems...

Guess what? I tried it and it still doesn't work. Well, it worked slightly but it takes a ton of misting. I can't even make a decent snowball.

Today is the first day that it has gotten above freezing and staying there since the snowstorm. Maybe if the snow melts a little it will absorb more moisture?

GOD please tell me you weren't outside by yourself building a snowman..that would be TOO wierd. Did you wear a big puffy snowsuit like Randy?(from A Christmas Story) LOL..

I want to do an Eagles football player, and then call the newspaper.

It snowed another inch last night and it STILL is not decent snow. I can't believe it.

some snow is too fluffy to pack down. it all depends on how cold it was when it came down. There was a graphic box about it on the weather page of USA Today this past Thursday 1/27/05, but I can't find it.
