I can't find anything on Step 3- is it because I have an LCD monitor? I tried some colored plastic too but maybe it wasn't colored enough to filter out what I need to see? I would think that this would not be necessary. All I can tell is that it has a lot of colored pixels. Any help on this one?

Edit- figured that one out. I forgot about something.

Edit again- these are hard! Now I am stuck on Stage 6- and there are 15 of them! This one looks like the picture is missing, but the caption says that is the way it it supposed to be! Argh! How am I supposed to find writing on a picture when there is no picture? " NOTE: The text is always in written in a clear form, it's just disguised in some way. There are no riddles or such things. The text is always located within the image file. it's never a reference to a place outside this website!"

Is this one of those genius recruiting challenges?

Four was easier for me than three and my efforts on four helped five. If you need help, look above this line.

4 took me awhile. I finally "cheated" a little to figure it out.

It'a a "magic eye" or hidden image sterogram puzzle, you have to kinda cross your eye's and it will kinda "pop" out in 3D. The problem is that some people don't seem to be able to do it.

btw: Thanks to the original post I have gotten NOTHING done at work today. I just finshed up the second set of them. (Pretty easy actually) :)

Is 6 the broken image / red x thing? If so no, it's working normally.

Here is the answer to that one:

View the page source to get the file name and go to it directly. :-)

Take a VERY close look at those letters, they are not quite all the same.

I take it no one is at the math puzzles yet? I never went beyond basic algabra in school and I can't get this one for anything. It looks like this:

(710°/8 + 0,710) *1000 =

Except the 8 is actually under the 710 (degrees?)

I loaded that one into Gimp, but if you have Photoshop that will help.

One last hint for awhile: Use the eyedrop tool.

Ok, number nine is a real pain. I don't seem to have the right graphice package to uncover the hidden text. Paintbrush doesn't seem to be getting it done.

Past that one - that took work!
10 was way too easy.

I still can't get #8. Do you mean put my nose to the screen "look closely"? I tried using only duplicate letters or just the other letters. This is wasting a lot of time!

12 was a pain in the butt. I'll give you this hint out in the open cause it still might take some a long time to get it.

The black bar in the middle and the .htm isn't the only black in that picture. Also the answer to this one is CASE sensitive. (the same with the some of the others as well, keep an eye on the case)

zippyjuan, open the pic up in photoshop and zoom in wayyyyyyyyy far and look at the left & bottom. The hint above says there is more black on the page than the bar (which is ALSO a letter...) and the .HTM

I don't have photoshop. I saved it as a pic and clicked on "Open" and QuickTime tried to play the gif, but of course it is a pic not movie gif so I clicked on "Preview" and zoomed as close as Windows veiwer would go and saw nothing else black besides the bar, the box around the image, and the .hml. I could not read anything in the green pattern in the lower left either.

EDIT: Finally got it! Drove me nuts and I am not done yet! Thanks!

I'll never get #3 (I've NEVER been able to do the magic eye puzzles before (partly due to the fact that one eye sees less than the other). These just don't work for me.

Ok you math nerds! Give me a hand with this one, I have been stuck on it for days now. I just don't quite understand what I am looking at.

Is that 710 to the zero power or degrees, and what's the deal with the comma?? (Is it a decimal point?) I can do the images, but I suck at math.

heh, the coin flip one had me stuck for a good long time before I was able to work it out. :)

Well thanks to the link above I was able to get through the last puzzle. The one about a small landlocked country in Europe gave me fits even with the help of google.

Yeah, NOW you tell me. I was told that any number to the zero power equals itself. I suppose if I had actually taken the time to think about it, I might have figured out that was wrong. :)
