Woohoo the day is finally here. Unfortunately it is raining a bit here in San Diego so the masses might be huddled in doors most of the time. But it should be fun, and I'm calling it right now Eagles 49-0!!!!
Ok maybe not but I want them to win. 60 bucks of beer money is on the line. Anyone else jazzed about today?

Im pumped, a dynasty could be born today :D. Stocked up on snacks and drinks for tonites game. Should be a great game, it could go either way, highscoring or lowscoring game.
I think the PATS will win by 3 or 4. LIke a 31-28 game, or a 21-17game

here's a dumb question,

An offensive player (with the exception of a single motion player) can't move before the ball is snapped. If it happens, that's a "false start" (this is to prevent the offensive line from trying to move an draw the defense off sides). Off sides occurs when a player (usually the defense) is on the wrong side of the ball when it is snapped. A defensive player can jump over the line of scrimmage and back before the ball is snapped (but a smart center will automatically snap the ball if he sees a defensive player cross the line) without a penalty (unless he makes contact with an offensive player, which is penalized as "encroachment").

I'm watching it in HiDef on the Dell 2300MP projector that I bought myself for Christmas. The picture is amazing compared to normal TV.

Are you watching it in true HDTV? Also, did you put up a screen, or are you using a wall?
I'd have everyone over if i had a projector... perfect for the college student who moves every 4 months!

Patriots 24 Eagles 21
I can't believe how poorly McNabb played. He was careless just like in last year's playoff.

Here's two links to pictures of the Superbowl game. You can see the info in the first picture and just see the top of the screen in the second picture.

I got it when Dell had the promotion that included a screen when you bought the projector. It's 16:9 format with a 52" x 92" viewing area.

I watch in HD on my 47" Panny RPTV and I love it.
The Eagles put up a good fight even though they came up short. Whoever bet on the Eagles with the 7 point spread, won big. :D

Good game. Poor McNabb. Well seeing as this is his first Super Bowl he did ok. He is a pro at playoffs... but I am guessing nothing can compare to the jitter bugs he got in his first Super Bowl. If pattern follows.... the Eagles will lose two more super bowls, then win on their forth attempt.

It was a great game I thought. Glad that it lasted until the last moment. I feel bad for McNabb because he played sloppy at times but I don't blame him since he's never been in The Show. I still don't think that the Pats are a dynasty. One more superbowl and then I'll concede ;)

I was pulling for the Eagles, but I couldn't believe the total lack of urgency on the their part during the last 5 minutes, and especially the last 45 seconds. A good QB could have gotten a good 6 or 7 plays out of that much time, but they seemed to have ZERO concept of a "two minute drill".

I am pretty disgusted by this whole "Was it the pats winning or the eagles losing".
I mean, come on people. The pats forced McNabb into difficult situations, they read his plays, they intercepted his balls. Its not like he threw the game, they were just better.

:stupid:
Well Joe Buck and team suck when it comes to calling defense at times. WHen I thought about it, I was wondering why the Eagles kept trying to go down the middle of the field instead of passing to the outside and steping out to stop the clock. My only guess is that the Pats had the outside covered tight and that Joe Buck and team did not point it out.

I totally agree. It was almost like he just wanted the game to end to get it over with and go home.
He made a comment locally that he felt that the Eagles were fortunate that they made it to the SuperBowl and it would be even more fortunate if they should win. It was like "Que Sera, Sera..whatver will be will be". I can't wait till the Eagles fans jump all over him for that statement.

dy·nas·ty Audio pronunciation of "Dynasty" ( P ) Pronunciation Key (dn-st)
n. pl. dy·nas·ties
1. You've been good long enough for people to get sick of you, especially if you're a Colts fan.
Ex: Los Angeles Lakes, New York Yankees, New England Patriots.
[McNabb] is a pro at playoffs... but I am guessing nothing can compare to the jitter bugs he got in his first Super Bowl.WHAT??? McNabb is a pro at playoffs? He lost 3 consecutive conference championship games and then was less than impressive in this year's SB. Much as a despise the Patriots, TOM BRADY is a pro at playoffs. 9-0 now in the postseason. [Hank Hill] That boy's not right. [/Hank Hill] Freakishly clutch, seriously.

Pro in the sense that he has been there done that. Sure he may have lost three NFC Championship games, but he's been there, done that. More so than other QBs.
As far as Tom Brady he is not a pro at the playoffs. The Playoff are below him... he is a pro and master of the Super Bowl. The Playoff don't matter if you win the Super Bowl. Brady has three.
