Free Wrist Band - Saturn - 1st 100,000 - Feb. 14th

Did you know that the number of people requiring lifesaving organ
transplants continues to rise faster than the number of available
donors? There are well over 87,000 people currently on the waiting list
in the U.S. alone.

Did you know that approximately 30,000 patients each year are diagnosed
with leukemia or other blood diseases but only one in three will find a
donor match within their family? The remainder will have to look to the
National Marrow Donor Registry for help.

Because of this, Saturn and Saturn retailers are banding together to
help promote lifesaving donation on Saturn National Donor Day, Monday,
February 14, and you can help! Visit saturn.com on Monday, February 14,
and request a red Saturn "People first" wristband.

For each request up to 100,000, Saturn will donate 50 cents to The
Marrow Foundation® to help offset the cost of adding people to the
National Marrow Donor Registry. This special promotion will only take
place for 24 hours. Don't miss your chance to help ...
Please pass this message along to your friends. Each one of us can make
a difference when we band together.

Go to this website on February 14
and click on the link on the bottom of the page to request your free
wristband.

Thanks!! And who said this site was going south. In 5 minutes, I got a St Paulie's Girl poster, a heart shaped strobe light, and 2 wristbands. It's a good day!! :)

Speaking of wristbands, if you have one of the Lance Amrstrong Live Strong yellow wristbands, take it off if you go into a hospital. They use a yellow band to identify people who request "Do Not Recesutate".

I think most hospitals know about it now, so they do check... but yeah in a frantic situation it's best not to be wearing a LiveStrong band as a hospital patient.
