So anyone one out there already a member of Utopiad.com? If so, please let me know a couple things. Like: How intrusive is the advertisement bar? Can I install it on a machine that already has another paid to surf program on it (I'm a member of alladvantage)? And what do u have to do to keep your account logged on and accruing time?
Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanx.

to answer your questions
1) the utopiad bar is "slightly" smaller than the alladvantage bar. and it's movable.
2) yes, you can be part of aa and still have utopiad running. i'm using 3 pay-to-surf programs simultaneously right now.
here's some of my thoughts, if it helps. utopiad is nicer than aa b/c it doesn't require you to surf. as long as you're online, you're bar is keeping count. so that means if you're on t1 or dsl, you can work on anything, and make money while doing it. HOWEVER, the payrate is...ASS slow! i don't have any referrals, so i'm only getting ABOUT $1 a day. (i could be doing something wrong.) but i still do it b/c i figured it's another source of "income". hopefully i can get a few more referrals, then i'll scan MY checks and show off to everyone else! (j/k apex!)

Thanks for your response RonniMan. Much appreciated...
Just out of curiosity:
1)I'm on a permanent LAN at work...What happens if I step away from my desk for lunch or for a long period of time (say home for the night), does my account still accrue time or does it stop due to the lack of activity from my mouse?
2) What's the third pay-to-surf program youre part of?

You have to touch it with your mouse periodically to keep it going. I tried leaving my computer with the mouse cursor actually ON the bar, to no avail http://www.gotapex.com/ubb/wink.gif And yes, the pay rate apparently sucks, and I'm not on enough to rack up even $1 per day. Combine this with the fact that the bar freezes quite often, and you'll understand why I have high hopes for another one of these programs. I just don't know which one it is, yet http://www.gotapex.com/ubb/frown.gif
I think I like the sounds of the surveys better, anyway.

utopiad has a "lag" time of about 5 mins i think. during that time, if the mouse doesn't move, it'll still keep your time (it has a green/red lite like aa). but if it's past that time, and no movements whatsoever, it'll go to red. but the cool thing about it is that it'll flash green/red for a little while before it goes off. so you can just move your mouse over it, and it'll reset.
the other one i do is paybar.com (http://www.paybar.com/index.asp?refID=1401195414 ), it slow like utopiad, but it's also good for doing things with lan. i'm actually part of a LOT more, those are the only three that are active as of now. and a couple of the other ones i'm not too happy with. if you want to know more, let me know.

Yes, please.I've got both AA and Utoiad. Utopiad doesn.t seem to work very well. While AA logged me for 38hrs, Utopiad paid only .38 cents. I keep it lit, too!

Yes please, RonniMan. How about posting up a list of your favorite money makers...
Anyone need a program that keeps your mouse moving (so that you can accrue time continuously and effortlessly)? Now I'm not saying that I use such methods, hehe. However, if you want, I could probably get it to you. I'm feeling nice today.

Oh, and how about bepaid.com site? It sounds way too good to be true, and it most likely is. But if anyone knows the details about this program or what the catch is, please post. Thanks.

see the second posting under topic "advice for pts..." i talk about my likes/dislikes for:
utopiad http://www.utopiad.com/member/getPaid?refId=14158
paybar (see link from above)
gotoworld
desktopdollars
i'm doing one right now that's kinda nice. it's http://www.dollars4mail.com/id=FNB-540
you just have to click on 5 ads a day, while you check on your free email. (which btw, when you sign up for, you get $10) this seems slow, but i think with referrals, it has potential, esp since i haven't seen much advertisement for it.
i'm signed with cashfiesta, and valuepay. i just haven't been able to download their stuff yet.
i personally wouldn't suggest using any fakesurf prog. purely on "moral" grounds of course....(cough, cough), but also, i just received an email from alladvantage that busted me for "fraud", i'm guessing it's for fakesurf. luckily, they're just docking my pay from feb. so, it is true that some programs can detect, while others just won't work with it. but up to you.

here's a twist. i know most people do pts prog. but you know what? since i don't have the referrals to get $900+ per month, i have to get my money else where.
i'm part of a points program, probably what I personally consider to be the best program on the web. it's faster point accumulation than most (mypoints.com, memolink.com, etc.), and the customer service is much better
since you're on the web anyways, goto www.freeride.com (http://www.freeride.com) and check it out (my referral id is chini8). all you have to do is click on some banners each day, and you get points for it. redeem points for gc. upon first glance, it seems you can only get $20 a month in gc. but, there's a "trick". one of the ways to earn points is by going to freeshop.com, and order magazines. they offer about 900 mags (good stuff too, not like unheard of mags), and they have free 3 month offer. best part, for EACH mag you order, you get 80 points. so i just order about 25 mags. and get my points, then cancel the mags, and repeat. not only do i get points, i get nice mags too. like i said, if you're doing pts prog, you have to be on the web anyways, what's 10 mins a day for gc to places like tower, blockbuster, and amazon.com?

Wow you actually got busted for using fakesurf? I don't use it myself, but I sometimes use another program called mousemover (cough cough)... hehe

I have used UtopiAd for almost a month now, and their pay rate seems way to low. I just went to their site and they have a default payrate of 2.5/cpm.
Based on surfing for an hour a day (or about 30 hours/month, you would make $4.20.
Compare this to AllAdvantage ($12.50), and it is pretty weak.
I will probably continue to use till the end of this month, to see if their payrate/cpm goes up. If it does not, I do not believe this is worth it.
Unless you have a big desktop and have plenty of space for ads. I have a huge desktop and can probably fit about 20 ads on it. I have had up to 8 on it at one time. Still working out the bugs. I'm trying to make a couple hundred with no referrals. (I have some referrals, but I don't want to count on that for the $200).
Anyway, I'm wondering off topic...
I would rate Utopia, out of the eight I use, probably around number 6 or 7 towards the bottom.

yeah, utopiad is really slow. however, i've found out that if you're on your comp constantly, it actually doesn't do too bad. the best place to keep it is near the bottom, that way, you'lll bound to keep it on whenever you switch tasks. i'm on the comp (work and home) for about 6 hours a day, and i'll be getting $20 from them this month, with no referrals.
