I'm so sorry but it sounds like they had long, full lives so take comfort in that fact.

Sorry to here that JLemon... but consider yourself fortunate to have had them for that long. Hopefully you benefitted from the access to their wisdom of their years.
Hopefully that also means that your Grandparents are still alive... and now you must treasure them before they move on as well.
Personally, I don't have any grandparents left... and my son only has 2 Grandmothers. :sad:

i was lucky enough to have one great gramma for a long time. she was sharp as a tac 'til the end, too. i still remember a lot of the words of wisdom she shared with me.

it's great that they lived to such ripe old ages...I'm sure you enjoyed every bit of time you had with them..

Thank you all for your support. Yes, i was VERY lucky to have had them so long and none of them suffered, they went out peacefully and I take comfort in knowing that they are now with their loved ones they haven't seen in so long.
And yes, I still have all four grandparents. I have been blessed.
