Anyone catch the add in the paper for this hdd deal at CompUSA?

I picked up a Hitachi Travelstar 160GB 7200/8mb + an ADS external USB 2.0 external enclosure for $59.00 (bundle cost after rebates of course). Hey, for $50 + tax on $190, it a hell-uv-a deal for a back-up drive.

The add is on their website under current advertisements link. Good until 3/05/05.

Is this (http://www.compusa.com/products/product_info.asp?product_code=314482&pfp=hpf2) the one ? I see a 2 MB cache (not 8 MB).

According to their printed circular it should be 8mb.

No...that's got to be a typoo. My retail box clearly reads 8MB Cahe Buffer.

Is it hard to put the HD in the enclosure? And does it need an external powersource?

I'm a cluless newbie :gle:

It's very easy to install a hard drive in the enclosure. The 3.5"/5.25" enclosure comes with its power supply.

I only see the hard drive under advertisments, where is the bundle? It sounds like a great deal, but for some reason I can't find it (maybe I'm clicking on the wrong link).

If you look at the printed circular it shows a picture of the harddrive and right next to it is the picture of the enclosure. It says the enclosure is free with the purchase of the harddrive.

Edit: If you click the link then it says 2MB version but underneath the picture is a link to a rebate for the free enclosure also.
