So get this. I got the e-mail that it was in stock at my local store at 12:12 last night. I completed the order at 12:19. Apparently, in the span of seven minutes, they all got picked up.

If you haven't gotten in on this yet, it is a really great deal. I picked up 2 spindles on tuesday, went through half of one with no coasters yet. CC seems to have TDK on sale about every other week, so if you miss it this week check back a week from Sunday, it may be on again.

I just picked up two spindles on lunch. Here's hoping they work well. I normally always use ritek media from www.shop4tech.com (http://www.shop4tech.com) but I figure for the price I will give these a shot!

They seem to be discontinuing this one- perhaps changing to a different speed or brand- so they are limited to stock on hand. I haven't had any coasters on anything yet. My burner is TDK too- 4x speed.

I've had good luck with them in my TDK external 4x burner. Haven't tried them in my NEC 16x...
