Rebate expires 3/6, does that just mean we need to PURCHASE by 3/6?

I read through the terms and whatnot..
"Rebate expires 3/6"
... this means:
You have to have the purchase made before 3/6.
I.e. when the invoice comes in the mail... it'd better be dated before 3/6 or you're out the cash.
I've always been hesitant to dothese 'rebates that end in one hour' sorta things, but I believe you should have ample time for order processing if you make the purchase by like noonish tomorrow.

Of course they could be slow as f&^k

I think that it will be okay... b/c you can always print out the receipt on the website when you order the item.
They send you a confirmation email and then you go to their website and on the website it shows you the recent order with the date of when you ordered it.

As long as you have that evidence you can get the rebate.

I swung by the tigerdirect store today and picked one up in order to skip their outrageous shipping charge (something like $8.50 for a stick of ram!).

I notice too that they have very high shipping charges. All I want is the IBM opitcal scroll mouse but the shipping charge makes it less of a deal.

and that dumb tax...

awww I always miss those in store trips, I'll ask my sister who lives out near you. My friend is looking for a good deal on ram, and a CPU mobo combo. Intel 500 preferably.

aren't tiger direct rebates slower than most...

You'll have to pay the tax whether order online or pick up at the store (unless you have it shipped out of the state).
