Politically Correct software???

I was typing a term paper for my Sci-Fi class and used the word "policemen", I did a spell check at some point and word marked a grammer error there and suggested, police officers. WTF? My software is now politically correct? :disa: :hihi: Too funny. I tried others and so far I have.

Policemen ------> Police Officers
Busboys ------> Kitchen Helpers
Congressmen ------> Congressional Representatives
Firemen -----> Firefighters
Stewardesses ------> Flight Attendents
Hotessess -------> hosts
Waitresses ------> Servers or waiters
Mailmen ------> Mail Carriers
Anchormen -----> Anchors, Newscasters, Commentators
Handymen -----> Repair People
Foremen ------> Supervisors

That's just too funny. This isn't quite political, not quite software, but all ridiculous. :heh:

Just remember that the national parks had to get a special waiver in order to continue to use the terms "fisherman" and "fishermen".

Hahaha, this is so funny. I don't think some of these are so stupid, but unnecessary. My deal on this is that if a person is THAT annoyed about some of these words, I'll just leave them happier than not.
