i don't have a blog, but just like with messageboards if you leave them open anything you say in them can and will be public knowledge. just saying that because i read where a flight attendent got fired for stuff she put in her online blog.
here is the story
http://news.com.com/I+was+fired+for+blogging/2010-1030_3-5490836.html
and here are the pictures

I used to have one before blogger updated their software. I didn't feel like updating, so everything on there is from like 2 years ago. :heh:

i'd like to, but i feel they're too much work to maintain, besides, i already spend too much time here.

nope. and i think for most people they are pointless and boring. i don't care what my friend's had for breakfast so i make no effort to read blogs.

Nope, cuase nobody will read it and it will be boring. But reading certain sports blogs are nice :D

Nope, and never will. Why would others want to read mundane details about my life, if I'm boring to MYSELF?

I used to do a political blog regularly (had ~1,000) unique readers daily... it got boring and so I moved over Livejournal.com and now it's all about my son's baseball and what I had for lunch. ;)

we when had webspace we had one going for family and friends who lived out of town and could not see the kids very often. We kept updates on what they had learned little antics and pictures of them.

haha ive had my xanga for quite a while now...i think 3 years?
most blogs are incredibly boring and pointless, and now that they are becoming mainstream, even more people will try to adopt them and have nothing of interest to write about.
i DO write about 2 articles a month that detail important events or stories for my friends' viewing pleasure. I find that more meaningful than writing about what I had for breakfast, like BrewMaster said

i dont and never will have one since i find them just too lame... i dont really care about stuff like that or about me having my little online diary thing... no thanks.
i dont mean to thread hijack, but what about myspace accounts? how many of you have those along with your blogs? the gf just got into the whole myspace thing and i think its kinda lame, also it pisses me off when we're on the phone and she's quiet/distracted. i'm trying to talk and i ask her what she's doing and she just says 'myspace'. ugh

I have a myspace account (free).
I have been using it to network with other 20-somethings in my new city, I like it. Some people go beyond and customize the heck out of their page, write in their journals, etc. but I'm there for the basics.

yea well i guess i can see how that would be somewhat helpful as in locating people around you... but those people that add a bunch of people from wherever... i dunno. i think thats kind of retarded.

It may be easier to ask who doesn't have a blog.

SnowSurfer - I would say you do on here and it's great. Why? Because I just did a search for Outlook Backup and found a thread you did in 2003. I've done the backup and restore but the thread also gave an idea to create a new .pst folder and drag and drop to copy.
This is one of the reasons I keep hanging out on G|A. There's several years of useful tech info here. A lot of you guys know what you're talking about. It's really cool. I'm a computer expert. Have been for many years. That is why to me someone not doing a backup is like not changing the oil in your car. You are an idiot if you don't do it regularly. There are some tech threads on here that challenge what I know and that's cool. I'm learning a lot just by reading threads on tech reviews, etc. No wonder it's easy to hang out here :)

I had one, but it sucked, i think it's still up. No one ever read it so it was pointless.
