Yeah, what they said. I get a few a month and they are a very reliable company. Occasionally we get free 'items' to test and give feedback on; that's an extra little perk which is cool.

I got one that I do to, I got a $10 check in my book that I need to cash now. Had to answer a bunch of questions about what kinds of candy bars I eat on a regular basis.

They are sending me some dish washer detergent, I have to use it for a month and they will pay me. Sounds good to me.

I am in one now that is free, so it takes a little while to make money. But it is free.

When I signed up it was free. I think it is still free. I've made over a hundred dollars from them, as I have been with them a long time, but I would not sign up if they required me to pay them.

it is still free, I looked over the reg link they sent me via email to refer someone no money needed, I have no idea what people are talking about, it is free to join, well subject to their review of panelists.

Pinecone is great. I signed up a long time ago, I think maybe Jenny posted it once before when it was open. I would have to say I have made at least $300.00 from them and get to try products not even on the market yet.

I average at least 3 paid surveys per month. That's $5.00 per survey and if they send you something to try, that's another $5.00, and if they ask you to send in the wrappers / containers after you are done (In a postage paid envelope they provide) that can be another $5.00.

It all adds up pretty quickly for 5-10 mins of your time ever couple of weeks. Of course the numbers and types of surveys you get depend on your demographics.

I've been with them for about 2.5 years... and it's actually been a long while since the last time they sent me a product to test (possibly almost a year)... I wonder if my answers to their questionares just aren't what they're looking for to send out the products to test...

The mention of payment is always in the email they send.

Unless the survey is a 300x series, then those are just considered general questions to figure out which surveys you will get in the future.

100x are the inital survey
200x followups if they send a product (usually)
300x general household questions (no payment)

please don't dicuss the products you get from pinecone...they are not on the market yet, and by signing the I AGREE portion of the contract, by saying this, pinecone has every right to bring you to court. They've done it before...they've sent out emails about people who've broken the contract.
