Are the Olympus brand camera's any good? I looked at a few reveiws and I'm not convinced.

I had 2 different Olympus digicams and they both broke on me. The lens "retrator" mechanism also seems to go kuputz on me.

I personally like my canon but was wondering if anyone had this camera and had opinions on it since i'm in the market for a new one.

I have an olympus camera and is really good i' like the kind of pictures i can take with it :) ... i just love to photograph my family when they are not looking in a sephia tone ... that seems both classic and artistic :)
