So I picked Josh up from school today and he said, I can't believe how many eye boogars I've had today! My eye itches! I said, I'm sure it's just allergies (considering mine have been haywire for nearly a week now).

This evening, he complained and we looked closer and realized there was A LOT of spooge coming out of his eye. He said it was stinging, so we went to the walk-in immediate care clinic that was open til 9:00 and sure enough, he has pink eye.

Got eye drops. a 3ml bottle for 60 freakin bucks! :gle:

Jenny, just so you know, CVS carries a brand of OTC eye drops for pink eye called SIMILASAN for about ten bucks a bottle. (it's a homeopathic based remedy for pink eye and it works great!!!!!! (and quick)..not only does it work pretty fast, but for some reason, it has some really great numbing ingredients-not sure if it's the belladonna, or the sulfur-but you should pick up a bottle of it and keep it handy. The itch is gone -like that! and the redness -like it never happened. I've tried it-and I can verify that the stuff works. EVERY CVS carries it. NO need to run and drop 60 bucks you might not have handy when Josh comes home with the goopy peepers..personally, I think it works better than the prescription stuff.

:( No CVS here... Wonder if Walgreens or Walmart has it.

Yup, just for 1 day. He won't be contagious anymore after 24 hrs on the drops. :)
