Microsoft Aquires Nintendo!!!

In an early morning bid, Microsoft aquired Nintendo along with its handheld division for an astounding 30.2 BILLION dollars! The move, expected by many, will place MS in a strong foothold in the elusive Japanese market. Analysts say the transaction will be completed some time this summer, and their first joint games and handheld will follow early next year.

Well Nintendo would not be that stupid..if it that would really happen. If Microsoft joined with Nintendo , Sony would die. But, anyways it does not matter cuz Nintendo is already dominating:)

Yeah Nintendo is dominating both. Handhelds.., ofcourse. But consoles,,yeah also. Microsoft gots nuthing against Nintendo..WOW HALO [2] ..TWO games ONLY good on XBOX [u can play halo [2] on pc..w/ better graphics].....Sony...in debt...with all there stuff getting sued..and cant even now sell the ps2..and wut good games...GTA SERIES...THAT ALL...Let's see Nintendo: SSMB, Animal crossing, PIKMAN, RESIDENT EVIL SERIES, PSO 1 & 2, MK : DD, GEIST [coming out], METROID PRIME SERIES, STAR FOX ASSAULT, ...should i keep going? :eyebrow:

Also, they are in last place in sales. You can PREFER Nintendo, but they are not dominating the console market - they are the farthest from it :)

I have to agree with Ski. There are a lot of good games available for XBOX and PS2 that aren't available for GC. Now...yes, there are titles and characters (Mario series, Zelda series, Metroid...etc. etc.) that are NOT available for any other system. That is the advantage to Nintendo...but....they are not DOMINATING anything...

True about that besides nintendo is directed to a younger audience as you can see in their game ratings, and it isn't dominating it's DS console will go down now with the psp on the market...

I wasn't too impressed with the DS. The whole screen touching thing does nothing for me. It just brings on too many problems of scratching the screen.

same here besides ,handheld nintendo is only making remakes of classic games, which is allright with me but, they need creativity on new games!

Go ahead buy a PSP. They are $250 rip-off. That cost is more than when the Gamecube came out. Pathetic. And when u want to listen to music or watch a movie u can on watch/listen for like 30 sec. You need to buy more memory for like $50. So basically PSP cost way more. And the Square button does note even work. The DS is aimed for 19 years. And for consoles Xbox has like 2 great games; halo and halo 2. You can play halo on pc and get better graphics. The number one game EVER for any console/handheld.computer game combined was RESIDENT EVIL 4...FOR NINTENDO GAMECUBE.

Go ahead buy a PSP. They are $250 rip-off. . Not.... With all the hacks. It's worth it. Play Games, Listen to Music, Put pics, ebooks , comics, browse the web and play movies and clips. It's cheaper than my ipod that can't really do much.
