13 days o' work left!

Today I made my reservations for Frankfurt and my reservations to go to LA for my 10 day pre-Germany vacation! Can't wait to finally feel like I have NO responsibility whatsoever (even if only for a little time between jobs in NY and Germany)

Anyway, my schedule for the next month or so . . .

4/4 - 4/20 - Work Work Work and packing up (on 4/20, have a nice big going away party from work)

4/22 - Move out of my apartment

4/23 - 5/2 - Vacation in CA - see a lot of old friends, go to my 5 year college reunion and take a jaunt to Vegas

5/4 - Fly to Germany and get settled in over the weekend

5/9 - First day of work in Germany

And on Thursday, I got my new camera - a beautiful Eos 20d - to use on my travels while I am in Europe . . .

WooHooooooo . . . the light at the end of the tunnel is getting very very bright :)

how exciting!

and your title reminds me of Collective Soul's "Counting the Days"

Counting the Days (yeah)
Until some freedom can scream my name
Counting the Days (yeah)
Until the gods break these chains.

should be an interesting farewell party on 4/20 :hmm: :bandit:

good luck with the whole moving thing....it's always a huge pain, and i have to think that moving overseas makes it at least 100% more difficult.

So you are coming to CA, eh? Sounds like a good reason to have a Get Together. Someone page ray! :P

Sounds awesome. My friends were stationed in Germany and they really enjoyed it.

Btw, the sun is out here in CA so you should have a lot of opportunities to test your new camera and take pictures of the local... umm scenery. ;)
