Unfortunately there are three rebates to send in, but the price is right and it’s from Amazon. If you want it, jump on the deal quickly. Last time Amazon had Greeting Card Factory Standard 3.0 for Free-After-Rebate, it sold out well before the end of the rebate period.
$49.99 – 20 MIR – 20 MIR - 10 MIR = FREE with FREE shipping
Greeting Card Factory Deluxe 3.0 @ Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B0000C7GEO/qid=1112611725/sr=8-3/ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i3_xgl65/102-7347887-5323348?v=glance&s=software&n=507846)
If you want to apply for a no-annual-fee, Amazon.com Platinum Visa Card with this order, you can actually make a $30 profit on the deal!

links for MIR?
It looks like it’s out of stock. They currently list this as an Office Depot order through Amazon. When it’s back in stock (directly from Amazon.com), the rebate links will appear on the same page.
I got in early enough to get an order confirmation. However, last time they had the FAR deal on the Greeting Card Factory Standard edition, I got an order confirmation and then they cancelled my order due to lack of stock.
Keep checking back. Sometimes these things go in and out of stock. BTW, one $20 rebate expires 5/7/05. One $20 rebate expires 12/31/05. $10 rebate expires 9/30/05. If they continue this offer, you still have over a month for all of the rebates.

Amazon lowered the price to $40 (still free-after-rebate) but there is now only two rebates instead of three. The $10 rebate has been eliminated.

Is this a particularly good program?

I jumped on this deal when it was $49.99 with 3 rebates (now it’s $40 with 2 rebates). The problem is that the product that Amazon shipped did not have the promised $10 rebate sticker attached. I asked them to please issue a refund for the $9.99 difference –OR- provide the $10 rebate form/sticker in a timely manner.
In just 24 hours after sending them an e-mail, Amazon replied that they would issue the $9.99 refund. What could more fair than that? AND one less rebate to send in!

That’s my one extremely minor gripes with Amazon. Haven’t they ever heard of PDF (Adobe) format instead of the fuzzy JPG format for their rebates?
One $20 rebate requires the 1) rebate sticker from the box, 2) original UPC, 3) product registration card, 4) copy of receipt, and 5) plain piece of paper with name, address, phone number, & place of purchase. The address is clear on the sticker.
Second $20 rebates requires 1) Printable (fuzzy) rebate form from Amazon, 2) copy of receipt, and 3) proof-of-purchase tab #2 from box.
Is this a particularly good program?
I guess we’ll find out soon. After all… the price is right!

Be careful when you do these rebates, one of them required the registration card, that nearly got by me. There is also a $15 rebate if you get Avery paper but that requires proof #1. There are 3 proofs of purchase, the UPC and on the tabs of the box, 2 round proofs, proof 1 and proof 2. Avery requires proof 1 and one of the rebates want proof 2. They create so much paperwork (and confusion) with these rebates.

I believe the $15 rebate on the Avery paper expired on 12/31/04.

I got it and it is a big hit, we're happy with it. I have a problem and would be curious if someone can repeat what's happening, just out of curiosity. When the program is open, go to "Crafts". There are two paper airplanes. Airplane 1 prints fine, but no matter how many times I try to print airplane 2, it won't print, a paper goes through the printer and prints nothing. Whether or not the plane prints, this was a very good deal, thanks for posting it.

I just tried out the program and got the same results. I even draw a blank in the "print preview" screen for airplane 2. Nova Development has no updates for this product so I guess they figure it is too minor a problem to fix.

Thanks for trying it, I was curious. I'm surprised that since this program has been around for a long time there are kinks lie this. In the meantime, we are enjoying the program.
