FYI...although Jack had a booth at Park @ Dark, they told me that they are not allowed to give away codes because they were inside and the general public could not get to them...

But they had a fun one-armed bandit jackpot wheel for all to spin. A lot of people were winning prizes with 3-of-a-kinds (but I tried twice and didn't!) They gave away t-shirts, paddle fans, Pokeymon card packs, the latest Harry Potter book, and some other things.

Otherwise, I got there at about 4:30 and it was still pretty hot (and humid) out there. It finally cooled down at about 7:30. But all-in-all, not a bad day, but not sure about the prices for four passes: 25K points here (5 weeks worth of points), 15K points from Fox times 2 for a four-pack (about 8 weeks), or about 30K points on KYXY (about 4 weeks), 45K points on KGB (about 4 weeks), etc.

thus forming what looks like different rocks,
one is a rock the other is glasslike and makes good arrowheads.

Not sure what the measuring point is/was, but Clear Channel a month or so ago radjusted all their stations nationwide to reduce the total commercial time per station per hour. Even the national talk shows like Rush Limbaugh had to change their way of doing things to reduce the commericals to comply with Clear Channel's edict.

If you go to Obsidian Butte California, they have been earthquake active the last couple of days with quakes up to 4.6 and a 4.4 this morning.

there are a couple of Geology classes At Grossmont College and San Diego State that take you in the field and you see the different rocks and Geological features that are unique to San Diego..

:heh: No, Jack is still 100.7. J&J left for 94.1 but they won't be live until 9/19. Supposedly Sara and Greg would be on this AM but I only heard her do traffic a couple of times. I was also channel flipping and watching a little of the hurricane stuff on TV so that might be why! I thought it would be more talk like the old afternoon show. Same for Jagger and Kristi. It's mainly music and I don't like most of those songs....and I can't get it on this radio. Oh well.
