Gratis finally shipped em out. DHL should be delivering it today. i can't wait!!

I'll post pics once i get it. Now i need to get 1GB of ram, a bluetooth adaptor, and a bluetooth mouse/keyboard set. I wish my TV had DVI inputs :(

Man I'd worry about a mini if I had one. It's just too close to the size/weight of a sandwich. One day you're hungry, not really paying attention. Bam. :munch:

How the heck does that stuff work? Is there an easy explaination? I actually wouldn't mind getting a mini for free.

the company running the site gets a bounty for each referral to their advertisers. This fee varies, but can be over $100 per person depending on the site.

Each person needs a preset number of referrals. In the mac minis case, its 10. So 11 people signup. Average referral fees are about $20 or so dollars.

a pyramid is then formed. A very few number of people complete their signups, so the company makes a ton of money off these people. Basically the free item is a very very small fraction of the overall price.

I was able to get several friends to signup and complete an offer. Some are better than others. See www.ratetheoffers.com for more on the offers. I have received walkie talkies and a $10 starbucks card from offers i have completed.

just an FYI for anyone who has one. The Apple Retail Stores have the Bluetooth/airport upgrade available for $99. Thye must install it. I checked around and they are the only ones getting this kit right now. Everyone else has a 6-8 week backorder. I am going to do it. Its not bad for $99.
