Is it worth it to get a dedicated graphics card for a Dell Inspiron 6000 notebook?

Dell offers Integrated Intel® Media Accelerator 900 Graphics or a separate ATI's MOBILITY RADEON X300 PCI Express x16 Graphics card.

No plans for gaming; just mainly Office/Powerpoint applications, managing digital photos and watching DVDs when traveling.

Just like to save some $ if I won't see any extra performance.

You'll be fine with the integrated solution.

No need to get a dedicated video card if you don't do gaming or graphic.

I would rather get the dedicated because I need all 512MB RAM for my system instead of 384MB (128MB shared video). If I have more RAM then I would get the integrated video card.

Thanks for the suggestions! I'll just load up on 1 GB of RAM and the integrated graphics. The savings will pay for the extra RAM. :thumb:
