The Chargers have a rough schedule this year. I just hope that they can maintain some respect this season.

Two games on ESPN and one game on ABC are pretty good.

i always thought that in order to play on Monday Night, you had to have made the playoffs the season before.
but seeing how MNF has a HUUUGE bias towards the big franchise markets (dallas, miami, chicago...) i guess not.

I want my niners to do good, because the only way besides a preseason game in SD I'll see them is if they are on monday night, as they NEVER get air time outside the bay area or the team they are playing's city
so sad.

The Chargers did make the playoffs. They just lost in the 1st round :/

thats not my point.

I am not trash talking the Niners I am a huge Niner fan, but the fact of the matter until they turn themselves around WE, the Niner fans will not get a single monday night game. You may live in a market where you'd get a Niner game... I do not... I live in So Cal, I don't have cable, so the chances that I will get anything BUT a Rams and Raider Game is slim to none. Last season was the first season that I did not get to see a single Niner game.
Nolan is turning the team around, but until the season starts we will have no idea if they will go 2-12 again or 12-2..... so it is wait and see. and yes we will have to deal with the crap that comes with a last place team.... but atleast we get the first round pick woot woot....
EDIT: looks like you are in So Cal too.... but yeah I'm a Niner fan... and I would have given almost anything to watch them ONCE last year, even if they did lose... that was my point.
