Can anyone tell me if there is available to buy a printer cable with a parrallel end (to the printer) and a USB end (to the laptop)?? OR, an adapter for the same configuration? If so, where can I get these? Dell has been NO help at all. I'm new at using a laptop so am not familiar with what is available. I want to hook up my older model printer to my new laptop without going wireless. THANKS so much, joan :stupid:

Hopefully WinXP will recognize your printer, or the manufacturer has Windows 2K or XP drivers available.
Of you can get a print server and just hook it into your network - and all your computers can print from it!
