I don't think it would hurt to try, but if anyone has an ipod photo and would like to trade it for my 4G ipod...please let me know. I would supplement the difference with cash or other things...

Ohhh right...sorry...

it's a 4G 20 GB. Will come with Apple's sleeve (the black one). It's in excellent condition, with a couple of small scratches on the back.

The only reason why I'm doing it is because I'm going to Japan for 8 days and I don't want to bring my laptop with me. I have about 1 gb in CF cards, but I know that's not enough. If I had a photo ipod, I can use the picture transfer adapter and dump my pictures onto the ipod.

It's now for sale. $230 Shipped. Includes original box with all cables, software, and the $30 apple case. Must have references if not a known G|Aer.

And I might take you up on that Revil, especially when my parents decide to go to an onsen :eek2:

This is another toy I will have to get after I upgrade my digicam. Does anyone have one and can you explain how well it works, how long to transfer pics and stuff?

Thx,

-j

With USB 1.0, it takes about 2 minutes for like 50 MB. It's SLLLLLLOOOOOOW. But I think it's a much better alternative than taking and leaving my laptop in my hotel room. Plus I plan on being plugged in when i do this.

In the process of looking it up, I found this. Very hilarious!

I rarely find spas interesting...plus most onsens are gender-seperated, so I really don't want to see any naked japanese men...

But really, Ipod's still available :)

Slightly off topic, but could be interesting. Is there a way to transfer pics from a digicam directly to this. 5 Gigs is plenty for me.

This has to be one of the weirdest FS threads... :)

But I took a quick look around, and I couldn't find anything. Belkin actually has this huge contraption to move pictures from digicams to ipods, so I figure something has to be out there....
