The new analysis found that obesity — being extremely overweight — is indisputably lethal. But like several recent smaller studies, it found that people who are modestly overweight actually have a lower risk of death than those of normal weight. :woohoo: I'm gonna live to be 100!!

I'm not fat, (Thick maybe :shifty: ) but according to the charts I am about 30lbs over my "Ideal" weight. If I lost 30lbs I would have to be almost dead and certainly would be un-healthy looking. I just think they need to revise the charts.

and in other news, the sales of Twinkies as gone up 42%No, what it means is that despite looks and an overly low standard for the BMI might indicate, moderately overweight people are exercising far more and eating far better than prveiously thought. Yay us.
Actually, I don't know if I'm fat or moderately overweight. Psh...

yea those charts only reflect "normal" people. I am way overweight according to those charts
My BMI is 26.5, but one has to take into account that i work out hevily and thus it's not accurate
