i know. not to derail this thread, but i really don't understand why all the fuss about them.

i listened to their complete album last week for the first time (i had already heard the first two singles, which i thought sucked), and other than the opening cut, which is a nice-sounding, if unoriginal, rocker with some pop sensabilities, the album is pathetic. the music is not pop, it's not rock, and its only attraction is that it's somewhat catchy, but only because they repeat the same shallow hook over and over.

if i never heard their music again i wouldn't feel sad.

Its primarily based on the number of years a person has been a member of Got|Apex? forums and secondarily on the number of posts a person has. And as part of this recognition...5 year members with 500 posts will get to upload their own custom avatar, profile picture and have their private message limit increased from 100 to 150.
