wow! twins are pretty rare among asians.

and before anyone posts the inevitable misinformation, let me state this:

IDENTICAL twins are absolutely random occurences, not influenced by genetics (or diet, or the moon's phase, or anything else... except perhaps a large electrical shock running through the uterus about 5 days after conception :dodgy: )

FRATERNAL (non-identical twins) may run in families, but since it is ONLY the "fault" of the mother, the tendency to do so can only be passed on from certain parents to certain children... in other words, if a woman gets pregnant with twins, and her husband has a bunch of twins in his family... guess what, he had nothing to do with the fact that his wife is knocked up with twins (other than the fact that he released at least two good sperm, which isn't exactly uncommon :P ). fraternal twins happen when a woman busts out two eggs at once, and both get fertilized. so, other things that predispose a woman to having fraternal twins are: advanced age of mother, many previous pregnancies, clomid, race (blacks and whites more common, hispanics not so common, asians very rare, native americans almost unheard of), larger body of woman, ... okay, i know there are more, but i forget.

anyway. i have no twin. twins are evil.

seriously, i think miami-detroit will be a great matchup, and i'm about 95% sure that's what we'll see in the ECF. no other teams in the east can hang with det or mia.

if the pistons can make it out of the east, i am most scared of them facing phoenix. we match up well with SA (it would be a good series, and while SA could win it, i think it's also very winnnable for DET), and ultimately i think allas doesn't have enough D to hold off detroit in a 7-game series.

but phoenix, if we can't figure out how to shut down nash, could be tough. i think detroit could win (and if they got the defensive matchups right, it could be a quick series), but if PHX plays to potential, it would be a 7-game dogfight.

Well, considering some past playoff failures, I'll be happy to make it to the conference finals. And we'd do fine without Shaq against New Jersey....just not past that. Don't forget, we've got Zo now too.

Apparently twins are common in my family (though I know that it's a random occurence) but nope, I have no twin. Some people think my brother and I look alike, but we disagree. It's up to him to post a pic if he wants the comparisons.

Kimchi might be able to comment since he's met my brother, and seen my pics.

In retrospect, I should've checked the G|A post yer pics thread first. He did post a pic in there, so compare if you will, the two of us.

I'm sorry, I feel so bad for you. I'll let you have one of my siblings to make it to you. :hug: It will help you realize how lucky you actually were to not have to deal with them. :) But no givebacks cuz that will make me :sad: and lessen my inheritance.
