View Full Version : I'm looking for a gadget

I once had a small elecrtic fan (a basic 10" oscillating jobbie that you can get anywhere) plugged into this "thing" that was about the size of a 50-pack of CDs, maybe a little smaller. It had a knob on it that let me vary the voltage (amperage?) coming out of it so I could slow the fan way down. I had to give it back, and I can't for the life of me remember what it was called. Help? Please?

prolly was an electronic router, they can be purchaced at harbor freight tools for about 20 bucks. they can damage motors, if its a cheap motor who cares.

No problem. Guitarists use them sometimes to change the input voltage of a tube amp. EVH blew up quite a few amps that way, but killer sound. :hihi:
