Woo! I'm like passwird....or rather he's like me :)
Although if we met face to face we'd have major problems communicating in Cantonese as we stare at each other waiting for one to start saying something... :bandit:

My parents lived part of their lives in the south; so they have an affinity towards creole cooking, Fried chicken, soul food and big american cars. They're like the reverse-Chinese Chinese people

I can go so many ways on this one, so take your pick:
1. Your thread title would've been WAY funnier if it said "Any Asians here?"
2. How elitist can you be? You don't see sourdough only wanting to make friends with other breads, do you? NO!
3. I'm not Chinese, but I'm a big fan of rice. Does that count?

:stupid: I fvcking love rice. I eat it four times a day sometimes and almost always at least five times a week. I could probably subsist on rice alone, as long as I had enough kikomann.

why is rice correlated with chinese (not sarcastically)
I mean, shouldn't it be Tea??
For heaven sakes, that was basically the reason why the west went to china?
Porcelain?

why are beans associated with hispanics?
why are potatoes associated with the irish?
why is whiskey assosciated with the irish?
why is brautwurst associated with the germans?
why is underarm hair on chicks associated with the french?

ahaha underarm hair!!
why are beans associated with hispanics?
Because they smell
why are potatoes associated with the irish?
Because that's all they have agriculturally speaking. And they smell.
why is whiskey assosciated with the irish?
Because that's why they are usually drunk on.
why is brautwurst associated with the germans?
[Lili Von Schtupp offers Bart a gigantic sausage]
Lili Von Shtupp: Would you like another schnitzengruben?
Bart: No, thank you. Fifteen is my limit on schnitzengruben.
Lili Von Shtupp: Well how about a little...
[whispers in his ear]
Bart: [shocked] Baby. I'm not from Havana.
why is underarm hair on chicks associated with the french?
Because they smell.

Haven't people noticed how.. like you might hear something like..
"Oh.. you're Chinese.. but you don't speak Chinese?"
or
"Oh.. you're from <insert country here>, you don't speak <language of country>" mentioned a lot by people?
I guess I"m lucky that I speak fine.. but there always seem to be a lot of people 'put off' somewhat, because you don't speak <x>
