WOOT First Dodger Game

I am going to my first Dodger game ever tonight. I am happy.... and better yet... the Pitcher is Jeff "The Dream" Weaver hahahah oh and Free Fleece Blanket night. I have been to only a few baseball games in my lifetime.... when I was a kid and brainwashed bby my Dad's SF Giants fandom... I watched a Giants game (the team with Kevin Mitchell, Will "the Thrill" Clark, Candy Maldanado, Matt Williams, Jose Uribe, Robby Thompson, Big Daddy, etc) one Athletics Game, and last year when to my first game in ages at Angel Stadium....... but man THIS TIME IT IS THE FRIGGIN' DODGERS!!! Woot!
I just hope they can avoid the sweep :( Then laster I get to watch them play in the Freeway Series at Anihiem.....

oh and this is also my GF's first pro baseball game EVER. This should be fun....maybe I'll catch a fly ball.

My family had season tickets to the Padres for years, when they were in Qualcomm. We used to love going to the games four or five hours early. We would tailgate for awhile, then we would go to batting practice. The kids snagged 2 or 3 balls every time. We ended up with a whole collection by the end of a season.

oh yeah we are leaving early to make sure we get there for teh fleece blankets... first 50k fans.... batting practice starts at 5:10 so if we get there early (traffic) we are going to watch batting practice woot!

i love watching baseball at the ballpark, just went to see the giants game last sunday.

I actually made it to a dodgers game last year, vs. the giants mad it even better.

We where in the Cheap Seats. Not bad, but the crowd was a bit too rowdy for my taste. It was hard to focus on the game with what seemed like a record number of beach balls being hit here and there. Yes I had a Super Dodger Dog. YUMMY!!!

Here are some key points about my first visit to Dodger Stadium.

1. It was hard to find our seat. We here in Pavilons....we had different entry points.... took us awhile to find out seats.

2. They only sell Gagne and Ituriz shirts in the cheap seats. Meaning Tofu was denied a Weaver shirt :(

3. Dodger Dogs are a bit salty

4. Got to sit next to someone who looked like Vin Diesel.....but would he sit in the cheap seats?

5. It was fun but oh so wrong joining in on the "Shawn Green Sucks!" Chants.

YES!!! THe Dodgers win another one :) I know it's like too early to get excited about a first place team but still they look good. I know they were beating up on a last place team (but they did struggle against them at coors.....but then again everyone does to a point). Why couldn't the Dodgers win it for me when I was at their game :(

I went to last night's Padre game versus the Arizona Diamondbacks. Although we had seats, we ended up at the "Park at the Park". What an amazing experience! The Park at the Park is a great concept. We had a wonderful time soaking in a true baseball atmosphere. It didn't hurt that the Padres won with Trevor closing out a wonderful game.

:wow: My 1st Dodger game was sooo long ago. Nothing like it. The ravine was just magical to me when I was a kid. Such great tradition.

I was supposed to go to the game on Saturday. My friends went and I ended up entertaining some other friends instead.

Ps: :bonk: Dodger dogs are perfects, you just didn't drink enough beer.

hahaha hey I never said I don't like them salty ;) I think I need to go to another game. I don't like the Pavelion.... I think if I was in the main part of the stadium I would have liked it better :) And I would have been able to buy a Dream Weaver jersey :)
