Out of boredom one day, the GF and I decided to go to Target and purchase some legos.... she is a Harry Potter fan so she got Hogwarts and I being a Star Wars Fan bought the Falcon..... DAMMIT!!! Legos are addicting and expensive........ We have since purchased more legos...... sigh..... me and my stupid collectibles.....
I've had the Millenium Falcon for about five years now. It was well worth the money.
I need to find a digitcal camera somewhere, try and get some pictures.

Legos are Cool! Like Lincoln logs, erector sets *looks over his shoulder for Nija*, those little colored sticks with the round wooden connectors (don't remember the name)... all that. Great exercise for your creativity.

My nephews have big boxes and boxes of that stuff. Star Wars, Harry Potter, sports, castles, automobiles, Bionicles, etc. It's one of their favorite toys and can get quite expensive. The older one can build anything. Even when he was 3 or 4, he was building stuff to spec and improvising with the kits.
I still think the little figures are neat.
New stuff:

Weird, I just today used my old Lego Technic set to make a calibration stand for my senior project. It was an expensive set years ago (2 sets, actually), but I've never wanted any more since then. I guess that's because I'm not a Star Wars or Harry Potter fan though. Every aspiring young mechanical engineer should have one.

Legos are great; but they hurt like heck, when you step on them in the middle of the ngiht! :)

I always wanted capsula(sp?) when I was little. But alas we were poor so I got some constructs and legos. Legos were and are still cool. The technics set were cool but I never got them cause I never had the attention span to try and build the actual item. And yet I got a degree in MET and I am a registered EIT go figure.

I didn't have capsula either, but I had a friend with them :D
BUT, I have a set now :D
Mikey is in love with the Knights and we have all but the really big castle and a little bitty set. Christmas shopping looks really simple this year. We have a lot of fun helping him set them up. And the pieces that they have now! So different from the sets we grew up with.

My mom's friend's kid had every lego set you could imagine by the time he was 7. He took one of the little police car sirens and shoved it up his nose and had to go to the ER to get it removed.

haha...kids can be so funny.
when my sister was 6, she shoved a bean up her nose and didn't tell anyone for a week! she had to go to the hospital to get it removed...i bet hospitals are used to that sort of thing.
anyway, legos are cool! i like the sets they have for girls now with fairies and princesses. soo much fun..!
