I am looking to sell this laptop. Brand new, it's only been used to test and make sure it works.

Intel® Pentium® M Processor 730 (1.60GHz) 14.1 XGA, RADEON X300
Microsoft® Windows® XP Professional, SP2, with media
512MB DDR2 400MHz SDRAM, 2 DIMMS
40GB Hard Drive, 9.5MM, 5400RPM
24X CD-RW/DVD Combination Drive
Dell Wireless™ 1370 802.11b/g WLAN miniPCI Card

It's a very stable system, works wonderfully. I am looking for $750 shipped. Retails for $1050 through Dell. I bought it using a good deal through my company and I would just prefer to have a Desktop system as a second system instead.

If you have any questions, please PM me or e-mail me at [email protected]

Thanks.

how well would it run games, like world of warcraft?

Well...

I have ran WoW on about 6 configurations, varying:
256MB, 512MB, 768MB, 1GB RAM
128MB Radeon 9500 Pro, 128MB Radeon 9600 Pro Mobile, 256MB GeForce 6800 Go

Totally unplayable with 256MB RAM no matter how much video power you have.
With 512MB RAM, the only thing that is going to run smoothly are indoor instances. Too much swapping between RAM and hard drive, and I was testing with a 7200RPM hard drive!

I'd say if you want to use this for WoW, upgrade the RAM (pretty cheap, I can let you in some deals as I've been shopping for SODIMMs lately) to 768MB or 1GB. The X300 is going to be a bottleneck of sorts, but just set your graphics to low, and it should run smoothly.

Still a good deal :)

Also, what's the warranty on this? I thought Latitudes get a little snazzier warranty since they are business machines.

weight?
If I'm not mistaken, the D600 has the same chassis as the I600m, around 5 lbs.

Thanks for helping with all the info Ski. It's been hard to reply to people at the moment since I am on vacation and on dial-up.

But it's been sold, thanks for all the interest.
