So its time for an upgrade. But I am so out of the hardware loop I have very little of what direction to head. Anyhow my system spec right now is a P4 2.4 oc'd at 2.8, this is on an 800mhz bus. I got a 9600xt 128MB card and was wondering which card I should upgrade to. Right now I'm just wanting to do the video and ram. I probably wanna spend under $200 and don't want to buy a card thats more than the cpu can handle. Also other restraint is i need a card that will fit in one slot since i got one of those mini pc's. So msg me away with suggestions and i'm not partial to sticking with ATI if nvdia has a better deal.

For your rig a 6600GT would be ideal. More power than a 9800 and under $200 now ($170ish).

Camp out on Newegg's refurb area for a couple of weeks. If you don't care about the software bundle, the deals can't be beat.
